Converting designs to XHTML and CSS

“HTML slice and dice”, “PSD to XHTML”, “Front-end coding” — confusing terms if you’re not in the know but they all mean the same thing: turning a design into working web pages.

I’ve been converting designs to HTML since 1997, and doing it with web standards since 2001. I produce highly structured, clean and efficient pages that adhere to all modern web standards. If you need an excellent front end coder, I’m your man!

Wordpress as a CMS

Wordpress is currently my platform of choice for developing websites. It’s open source, well supported and has hundreds of plugins that can take it from a simple blogging platform to a full featured Content Management System. Accessibility consultancy

It’s currently a legal requirement for government and civil websites to meet the Accessibility guidelines laid out by the Web Accessibility Initiative. And it’s probably only a matter of time before this extends to all websites.

But accessibility isn’t just about ensuring disabled people can use your site — it’s about ensuring everyone can. If you’re concerned that your current site isn’t up to scratch, I can improve it.
