Gaijin Film & Sound approached me to develop them a portfolio site that would show off their TV, Film, Music and multimedia projects. The objective of the site was to get new enquiries.
The client had originally wanted an animated ’skip intro’ using the logo to present the various areas of the site. I felt that this was both old-school and counter productive to getting people engaged quickly, so I instead recommended a more traditional site that would use accessible methodologies.
I developed a proposal to deliver the site using Wordpress. The array of plugins available for showing images and video would help keep development time down, while providing the client with a simple CMS to add and update content.
The site was launched in June 2008.
