The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures system not only provides online access for government sector public-health professionals with regard to key procedures, but also provides facilities for administrators to update their access with their own procedural guidelines.
Semantico are a Brighton based company delivering on-line publishing solutions. They produce the on-line version of the Royal Marsden Manual for their client, Wiley Blackwell.
As a third party provider for Semantico, I was asked to design the “look and feel” of the online Manual. I was provided the functional specifications and wireframes by Semantico and I worked closely with them to design the style of the key screens used in the application.
Once the graphic design was complete, I also created AA accessible HTML/CSS templates of these key screens. These were then integrated into Semantico’s bespoke publishing system for final delivery.
